Acne affects many people but teenagers suffer from acne are in large numbers but it affects many adults too. There are different reasons for causes of acne. Some of them are hormonal activity, genetic history, poor skin hygiene, stress, vitamin deficiency and diet.

These clogs trap the sebum, which results in causing acne.
Pollution and dirt: This is not a direct cause of acne , but it boosts skin problems. Dirt clogs the skin pores, and as a result, the sebum is trapped inside the pores. If this left uncleaned, it will boost skin problems like acne, pigmentation, etc.
Vitamin Deficiency: All the required nutrients and vitamins essential for the skin must include in your daily diet. Lack of zinc in your diet may be responsible for acne outbreaks. Zinc is a mineral known to treat acne both internally and topically.
Poor skin hygiene: It can be one of the factor causing acne. If you have flaky skin but do not exfoliate properly, dead skin cells can block the pores and aggravate acne and help create spots.
There are other causes of acne such as anabolic steroids and certain medications, Stress is a often a factor which aggravates acne and you can take simple steps and make lifestyle changes.
Acne prevention might not always be possible for you, but preventing the acne condition from further deteriorating is something, which you always can.
